Can you give me some eye makeup tips?

I want to wear green eyeshadow tonight. I have brown eyes so I think it will look alright. How do I do it without looking like a clown? Can you give me some eye makeup tips?
first of all never put too much of make up... if u wanna wear green eye shadow that's oeperfectly alright but since we do not know ur tan color u should be really careful with the amount of it and of course the shade u are outting on... if u can try putting some foundation first that shoud give u a smooth face and if u use one of those tanning foundaations it will look u more tanned so green would shine a lot better... first put some green right at the very end of the lid then apply a slightly darker shade on the rest of the lid but do not exaggurate.. if u like u can apply some under ur eyes too but only a little line... then use some eyeliner both on top and bottom of ur eye lashes and use some black mascara to finish it off.. and last but not least if u prefer u can apply a light rose kind of shade to ur cheeks just for a cutier look!!! hope this helps...:o)Can you give me some eye makeup tips?
during daytime don't apply dar color eye shadows. Use shining ones at night
Lift up the end of ur eyebrow that is AWAY from your nose and lean ur head back but still look ahead of u at the mirror so that ur eyelid almost completely closes. The paint one side turquoise and the sea green and blend 'em together. It might not look right the first time u try it, tho.
Apply your make-up really light. Then get a darker green and line it just a little lower under the brow. Then also use it as eyeliner. Then apply a little bit of sparkles around the eye area.
that's great if u'r gonna wear green eyeshadow because it will compliment your brown eyes and will make them look a shade lighter. start using a light shade of green on your little (first) eyelid and use a thin brush with a darker shade of green and compress it in between your two eyelids( at the crease) and lastly use beige or white eyeshowdow (if u haven't tweezed your eyebrows in a while) and apply it to the bottom of your eyebrows to give them a fresh look.

hope this helps.!!
make it VERY light and mix in som other really light color i do it all the time it looks good and still green!!!!!!!
start subtly by just applying a little to your lids, then if you want to enhance it a bit more go darker in your socket line and towards your outer lids. remember you can always add more, and you can wear heavier make up at night than you can during the daytime. hope this helps!!
put it on light and then add to it as u want it. ti works like watercolor u apply it light then get it darker as you want it.
I found a web site that will let you upload your picture and do a virtual make-over. This site is pretty cool. I have hazel eyes that are sometimes green and sometimes brown. I usually go with a teal color and it blends so well. Check out the source below for the web site.
keep the green close to the bottom of your eye lid, and tone it down with highlight at the browbone and lowlights at the crease of various shades. Of course, today is St. Patty's day - so I think it will be fine if you don't do it 100% professional ;) Check out the pic of Eva Langoria on the L'oreal Paris website.
First apply black eyeliner on the top and bottom of your eye lids. Then you apply a heavy amount of green %26lt;line on top of your eyeliner%26gt; at the top of your eye lid! Then apply a very light shade going up! i work at mac in filene's at the mall and that is the best way to go it comes out beautifull and you won't ook like a clown don't worry
No matter what color you use...Blend, Blend, Blend! You don't want to have lines of color.
