Eye shadow tips? How to apply?

Primer. You must apply primer before applying eyeshadow. This helps the colors pop out more and last longer. I suggest Urban Decay Primer Potion at Sephora. ($17)

1. Apply your base eyeshadow. The base is always the lightest color. Do NOT rub in the eyeshadow. Take one side of your brush and PAT in the eyeshadow.

2. Apply your eyeshadow that is a darker shadow than your base in your outer V, sweeping into your crease area. This is best when using a stiff fluffy brush. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IS0eCO4U鈥?/a> )

4. Apply your eyeshadow that you used for your outer V on your lower lash line. This is best with a stiff brush or a angled brush for a more sharp look. Only apply the eyeshadow 2/3 of your lower lash line leaving your inner corner empty. In the inner corner apply the lighter shade (your base color).

5. Take a nice ';white'; creamy eyeshadow (such as Vanilla from MAC) and apply it on your brow bone. (Use a nice fluffy brush) While applying that highlight make sure to get rid of that harsh line.

6. Do any retouches such as blending in your two eyeshadow colors so there is no harsh line, or apply your eyeliners and such.Eye shadow tips? How to apply?
if your eyes are.....

Too close together: A light color on the inside corner of your eye lid and a medium to dark color from the center to the outer part of your eye

Too far apart: A medium shade on the inner half of the lid blending it out toward a lighter color; then line your eyes with the medium color

Droopy: Applying shadow to the outer corner of your eye, then extend the shadow up and out for an uplifted look

Too deep: Sweeping a light to medium color on your lid and a slightly darker color slightly above the crease of your eye, highlight your brow with a light color

remember to blend it well and bring out the color of your eyes.

how to apply three shades:

http://www.videojug.com/film/how-to-appl鈥?/a>Eye shadow tips? How to apply?
Well, it all depends what colors you are using. Dont know if you can rech me directly But get three shades. A light shade close to your skin color and apply below your browline and innercorners of your eyes. Medium tone color goes all over your eyelid staying below the crease. On the outercorner of your eye you will apply a darker color staying at the crease. I hope this helps
Put a light colour (white/cream) right on top of the eyelid, and then a little from the arch of your brow to the end. -This will highlight your eyebrows.

Next put a darker colour- usually brown or something, just beneath the light colour u've put on under the brow.

Take a bold-ish colour you have chosen to wear that day and apply a little to the tip of your eyelid. (or just from the middle to the end... its up to you) swiping it in a tiny upward motion in the direction of the ending of your brow.

Hope that makes sense... and I'm sorry if it doesn't. :)
ok theres several ways u can do half and half you know if you want to wear blue put half your eye blue and the other green you can put all one color or you can put one color all your eye another in the middle crese and another at the bottom crese but makes sure itds form light to dark

Try some lighter browns, even greens or purples. try white liner on the top.

my fave splurge is designer brushes. I love great makeup brushes. I use Sephora brand eye brushes. Also, try two-faced (its a brand) shadow insurance, its pricey but makes your eyeshadow go on great.

You have pretty eyes, but the darker the colors you wear. the darker your eyes will look. try some lighter colors.

Also , i always use liner, always. line the top and smudge it, then use eyeshadow!
you have such a hard look around your eyes with the mascara and liner that it looks separate from the shadow part. It would look nicer if maybe you either softened up the liner by using a lighter shade like maybe a plumb purple and then use a dark purple eye shadow and give it the smokey eye you where going for.

This is an exaggerated version of what I was talking about:

Log on to makeupgeek.com she has numerous tutorials. Also log on to youtube and if there is a particular colour you want to experiment with do a search in youtube. ie ';purple eyeshadow'; or ';purple smokey eyes'; for example; youtube will display numerous tutorials using purple eyeshadow.
you should check out the makeup tips from ';pursebuzz'; and ';xteeener'; and ';itsjudytime'; on youtube. they are the top subscribe makeup gurus on youtube. so check their tips out.
I would go with purplish colour for the main bit and maybe a goldish on the sides of the purple bits wich makes it stand out more!!

Try it~~
i always found blue to be attractive on a beautiful woman.
how about lighter purplish and pink colors
Deep greens and blues would look great on you!
go dark it would look nice on you

Why do I have dark circles under my eyes? Any tips to get rid of them?

I get enough sleep. They aren't puffy, just dark circles. How can I get rid of them. DONT say makeup.Why do I have dark circles under my eyes? Any tips to get rid of them?
sometimes, my dear, they are just genetic. mine are. in which case you could spend a fortune on super expensive creams which won't help. if this is the case you can either go to a plastic surgeon or forget about them and move on with your life. if you are a black or Mediterranean woman iron supplements may help as might losing 5-10 lbs, but if they're genetic you can only minimize the appearance, and never really get fully rid of them. Sorry, but if you want to hear the truth there it is!Why do I have dark circles under my eyes? Any tips to get rid of them?
try vitamins. and maybe the time that you spend unconscious(asleep) is time that you don't spend in REM sleep, which is when your body regenerates itself. you can blame the things that go ';bump'; in the night.
You can try a few different methods -

warm used teabags (chammomile is best) over the eyes until the teabags are cool

cucumber slices on the eyes for about 10 minutes

drinking plenty of water every day

using a facial moisturizer

  • What are good eye shadow techniques/tips?

    While there are rigid rules when it comes to foundations, it is with your eye color that you can allow your creative side to take flight.

    Your eyes are the focal point of your face. Be sure that your eye makeup techniques and choice of colors are most flattering to your eye shape and color.

    With eye color you can create the illusion of new shapes and sizes. Always keep in mind that light colors highlight and dark colors shrink or recede.

    Powder eyeshadows come in singles or color coordinated duos, trios or quads. Try to find eye shadows that are highly pigmented. Simply put, you want the shade you see in the container to be the color you see on your eyes.

    When applying eyeshadow sweep the lightest shade over the entire area from lash line to brow. This shade will be your base color and is to your eye, what your foundation is to your face. It will hold your color and prevent creasing.

    After applying your base color, apply a medium shade on the lower lid. This is the part of the eye that most women apply eyeshadow. Blend into your base shade.

    A third color can then be added. Use a deep, dark shade to create depth. Apply this shade along the lash line, and at the outer corner of the eye, emphasizing the crease of the eye and brow bone. Blend well. This is your accent shade and when used can create a more defined eye.

    How you apply this contour shade can help eyes look bigger, smaller, wider set or closer together. The key is to blend so well that attention is still drawn to your eye, not your eye makeup.

    For eye shadow that looks “just applied” for hours, first, base your eyelid with a neutral concealer which closely matches your natural skin tone. Next, apply a neutral shade of eye shadow or a color nearest your skin color over the concealer. The process of the powder adhering to the cream will create a smudge resistant base for your eye shadow. It will last forever.

    Really high quality powder eyeshadows such as Sacha's color-rich eye shadows can be used wet or dry. Dampen your brush or applicator and create your own liquid eyeliner in any of Sacha’s vibrant colors. Wet application of these eyeshadows serves to intensify the color.

    Cream eyeshadows are the newest kids on the block. Avoid formlations that crease upon application. These cream eyeshadows can be coordinated with your powder shadows. A cream eyeshadow can be used as an under base with a matching powder shadow as a sealant. The best applicators for any cream eye shadow are your fingertips.

    For extra glamour, use an iridescent powder to highlight your eyes. This makes it possible to trasform your day makeup into a glamorous night look.What are good eye shadow techniques/tips?

    My answer:

    .';.....I've had incredible results massaging with essential oils.They are safe. Oils such as almond, olive, grape seed are good. Quickly and permanently healed ALL of my many skin conditions, rid face of all blemishes and gave me an even skin tone and a clear, healthy and radiant skin. I use this trick all the time, I got a from a beauty magazine.

    Use a teabag, any kind will do.

    I use herbal teabags,which smells great.

    You soak 2 teabags in cold water, you can put tap water with ice cube, then rest the teabags on your eyes for 10 mins. remember to lie down on your sofa or bed.

    let me know how it works for you
    Tea bags, caffeine products work rub eyes very gentle
    I have the same problem, Let me know if you get a good answer please :)

    How can i remove under eye dark circles using home tips??

    I have dark circle under my eye...how can i remove them using home tips??...plz sujjest.How can i remove under eye dark circles using home tips??
    put cucumbers under your eyes.i find when my eyes do that my iron is low so i try and eat something with iron in it. like greensHow can i remove under eye dark circles using home tips??
    I have been told that tea bags are very effective! I know it sounds daft but put damp teabags on your eyes then wash face. Suppose to work a treat!
    Sleep
    Sounds daft but the cream that is used for piles is what the actors use if they have had late nights.We have tried it and it is good but you must rub it in well.(Cannot think of the name at the moment will post when I do)Another tip is raw potatoes cut in half and placed over the eyes for a while.Its called Anusol.
    Dark circles are a big problem. Consult a dermatologist. Take proper sleep. Take vitamin a. Use lemon n ice cubes n under eye creams...
    Ditch the Dark Circles

    Before you go to bed, peel and slice a potato. Close your eyes and cover your eyelids with slices of raw potato, using a bandanna to secure the potatoes while you sleep. Do this three times a week. You should start to see gradual improvement.

    How it works: The potatoes have the same enzyme used in expensive cosmetic creams to lighten the skin.

    You can also mix equal portions of almond oil and honey and massage the mixture into the dark circles around your eyes before going to bed. Wash it off in the morning.

    How it works: The honey acts as a moisturizer. The oil gently exfoliates, stimulating the skin cells around the eyes. This tightens and eventually lightens loose skin around the eyes. It has the dual effect of getting rid of wrinkles around the eyes, too.
    use cucumbers on the eyes while you sleep and get plenty of rest
    Eye dark circle can be removed by using sided mirror
    idk but when u find out, please throw that suggestion my way...Please? and ty
    plenty of rest, cold tea bags or cucumbers, even soothing cold eye masks, which i have tried myself work well.
    There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

    http://www.mydarkcirclesblog.com/2006/11鈥?/a>

    If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:

    Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water %26amp; stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath %26amp; let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K %26amp; Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

    Anybody got any cute eye makeup tips??

    I wear bronze, gold, and brown usually [natural colors] I am light enough to wear any shade i want really though. If anyone knows how to do the smokey eye effect i would love to learn! IM just looking for something fun and new to try and wear.Anybody got any cute eye makeup tips??
    For the smokey eye effect;

    First of all use a soft eye pencil to make a thick line around your eyes

    Then use your finger to rub a shimmery gray or brown eye shadow across your upper eye lid and also blend in some eyeshadow with the eyeliner.

    Then use a brush to smudge black eyeshadow into the crease of your eye and to the upper and lower lash lines- this softens the liner a bit more

    Optionally, you can finish it off by applying some light grey eyeshadow to your brow bone and then applying mascara.

    Iam looking for liquid eye liner application tips. I would like the very dark 60's type look.?

    Are their any good makeup tips websites?Iam looking for liquid eye liner application tips. I would like the very dark 60's type look.?
    Take free times in your house to practice!!! There are 3 different delineators for the eye

    -Kohl: It is the oldest of all, this one is a black powder that comes generally with a thin paintbrush, also there are pencils Kohl, these are very soft and both, powder and pencil works perfect for sensitive eyes. Con: they do not last very much on ur eyes

    -Pencil: The pencil is the most common of all, but you have to check the top of the pencil is not very hard nor very soft because it could hurt your eye. 2 make it paint better you can put the top to the heat of a flame (not to the flame) during 2 segs. A lighter works well

    - Liquids: Hardest to use. Something possible to do with it to do the line as close as posible to ur eyelashes and wait until until it dries, then use eyeshadows as eyeliner in the same color of eyeliner, and it will last, with this u will look smookey

    -The way of applying them: The best way is to pull the exterior part of the eyelid up and out, the grace is that the delineator remains as close as posible to the eyelashes, the delineators of CoverGirl that has a sponge at the other side of the top, they are very good because after delineating u just pass the sponge to blur a little bit the liner!!! Then put mascara and thats it!!!Iam looking for liquid eye liner application tips. I would like the very dark 60's type look.?
    First of all, you must use liquid jet black eyeliner. That is a rule. you start thinner toward the part of your eye that is closest to your nose. You then get thick and turn in an upward motion going toward the outer brow. An line extending beyond your actual eye as far as your facial features will allow you to get away with. The lower line needs to be thick and get straight toward the end of your eye. Your eye probably curves upward, but for true 60's action, a straighter line is IT. Look at some old Elvis Presley movies. Look at some Barbara Eden scenes from ';I Dream of Jeanie'; and you'll see. False eyelashes are probably necessary to make the liner look right. Otherwise, your liner will make your lashes invisible. Some people actually drew the bottom lashes on back then, that is difficult to do.

    I Dream of Jeannie, or Elvis movies will not steer you wrong. Be groovy!!
    put very abundantly on top and below the eye line, that's what i do whenever i have a show to look like a rocker style...
    try finding a 60's pic on yahoo find one with makeup you like go to a salon and have them do it on you but explain and show you how to do it. i think that would be better then an internet sight. hope this helps.
    Try Kryolan makeup.

    Can help you on this

    http://www.kryolancosmetics.com.au
    First you have to practice putting it on straight and quick and once you've got that go a little higher 3 times all the way across extending past your eye a little. Makeup counters are the best they can show you a lot better than web sites!
    well if u are going for that put the eye liner on top eyelid and put it on thick and if u put it on the top and botton thick ppl will be scared of u so only on the top and thick

    do not wear it very dark. if it is day time wear it very light but u should wear a dress in orange and black. and if it is night u can wear it a bit dark and make it to shine.
    use as an accent only and go lightly, you dont want to look like mimi from the drew carey show
    try a light, shimmery orange. nothing too bright. you can use a darker/burnt orange in the corners %26amp; creases
    If you're going to go for orange, then go with bold strokes. A pale orange would look bad. So make it bright!
    Mmm, I didn't even know Orange exists! I didn't even find out about yellow shadow until last month, and it was Rimmel I saw!

  • I have really bad dark circles under my eyes any tips for getting rid of them?

    Please give me some that work, I've tried putting freezing cold spoons under my eyes as I've heard that works but - nothing! help!I have really bad dark circles under my eyes any tips for getting rid of them?
    If you've got really serious dark circles, like the kind I have, nothing will make them go away. People will tell you to sleep more, eat healthy, take vitamins etc. which all works if you have the kind of dark circles that pop up in the morning and are gone by breakfast. I've tried everything and nothing works, not even plastic surgery. Just settle to the fact that they are there to stay and just use a very good concealer. By the way, there is a new product called ';Hylexin'; which claims to remove dark circles. Don't get fooled by that. Its an absolute rip off. A huge scam. Didn't do a thing for me.I have really bad dark circles under my eyes any tips for getting rid of them?
    If you want to get rid of them permanently .......drink plenty of water (as this could be dehydration), get the correct amount of sleep and if you have allergies....like cigarette smoke.....that will cause them also.

    As for the short term.....Good Luck....seems whatever I ever tried just made it worse.
    cut fresh cucumbers and put them on ur eyes. i heard that was a good remedy...L
    It may be hereditary, but make sure you're getting at least 8 hours of sleep everynight , around 8 glasses of water a day (no sodas, juices, etc), and you're not stressed out.

    If you do these things and you still developed dark circles, then make sure you're not eating foods high in sodium ( fast foods, processed tv dinners, adding table salt to foods, canned foods that are not salt free). You should aim for around 2,400mg of sodium a day. And remember that breads contain lots of hidden salt.

    If your salt intake is okay, then use virgin olive oil under your eyes. Dot it on the bone (not directly underneath the eye) and it'll seep into that area.

    You can also apply a mixture of tomato and lemon juice on the dark circles-once in the morning and the other time in the evening.

    I hope this helps you out!
    Yes! Get concealer that is one shade lighter than your natural skin tone. It helps balance out the blue. Then apply foundation that matches your skin tone and those circles will be gone.

    Tips on ways to apply eye makeup?

    need some tips on how to apply my eye makeup... i have blue eyes with fair skin. i wear eyeshadow liner on bottom and top lid i just need some new tips please helpTips on ways to apply eye makeup?
    ';To brighten up dull blue eyes or emphasize piercing shades of blue, opt for taupe, lavender, camel, lilac and other shades of browns and purples to make your eyes appear bluer than they really are.';

    You can try a smokey look with those colors or if you don't want a heavy look, you can just sweep a light but shimmery eye shadow dust/cream/shadow on your lids.

    Try tightlining (lining the lashline where the lashes sprout, not the top) if you don't want a harsh eye liner line.

    Also, you can try false eye lashes to play things up when you're going out.Tips on ways to apply eye makeup?
    I suggest that you try purple, green, or bronze-goldish eyeshadow. I am pretty sure those colors will bring out your blue eyes more. Especially for the summer now, bronze eyeshadow is very forgiving and it looks great on everybody no matter what your skin tone or eye color is, and bronze/gold eyeshdows look great with brown eye liner. Purple and green eyeshadows are great for blue eyes, they really make them stand out. After you apply your eyeshadow, apply a black or brown(for a more subtle and softer look) cream, liquid, or pencil, eye liner on your top lids and bottom lid and apply some black or brown mascara.

    Another thing that I would suggest is to try a bunch of eyeshadow colors and see what works for you. Makeup is all about fun and experimenting, so have fun with it *_*

    Good Luck, I hope this information helped *_*
    Ahh yes, I am the exact same. I am blonde with blue eyes and fair skin. I tend to stick to black eyelliner but only put it along the top. I also use black mascara on the upper eye lashes and I use Loreal taupe colors for the eyelids along with pink and vanilla. They are ideal for our eye color. I use a bit of blusher for the cheek bones and I use a great facial mositurizer along w/ a great facial cream.

    If you are interested in how to learn eye makeup tips, you might consider attending personal makeup courses, where you have the opportunity to learn or read special books and articles specific to eye makeup tips and be sure to apply the eye makeup techniques you learn. Of course you can look through magazines, where you are sure to find free eye makeup tips.

    Understanding eye makeup is complex, because you must take into account many factors, like:

    鈥?the message you want to transmit by your makeup;

    鈥?your age and the condition of your complexion;

    鈥?the shape of your face;

    鈥?the coloring of your skin;

    鈥?the color and the style of your hair;

    鈥?your personality;

    鈥?your clothes;

    鈥?your accessories;

    鈥?the purpose of your make up (day time makeup, evening makeup, special makeup, for different occasions etc).

    Here are some practical eye makeup tips, with which you will never fail:

    鈥?the eye liner which is generally appreciated is grey or brown;

    鈥?in order to give the illusion that your eye is big, underline it with an interrupted line, as close as you can off the base of your eyelashes, which you then blot gently. The line will be applied both on the upper and on the lower eye lid. You can also get the illusion of a bigger eye, if you apply white liner on the mucous membrane, kohl sau kajal;

    鈥?in order to give the illusion that the eye is small, color its lower mucous membrane, without underlining the lower lashes;

    鈥?in the case of exophthalmic eye, the contour on the upper lid has to be stronger and wider;

    鈥?if in the outer corner the eye is a little more lowered than the interior one, then bold the contour of the upper lid on the last third;

    鈥?in the case of mature complexions, of the eye circles and in the case of pouches below your eyes, it is safer to draw a contour only on the upper lid, in order to avoid the effect of a tired look.

    Here are a few more eye makeup tips...

    It is recommended to use for the contour, pencils which have a soft mine (for example, pencils which contain bee wax) and which have the mention kohl or kajal. They are the only pencils which can be applied on the mucous membrane! Using them you can protect the skin around your eye, which is very sensitive.

    鈥?the mascara accentuates your look and it can be used successfully, even for the simplest makeup. When you go to the gym, it is adequate just to use a uniform layer on your eyelashes and best if you can use a waterproof mascara;

    鈥?using a strong mascara for your eyelashes towards the middle of your eye and curved vertically, highlight the roundness of your eye and give the illusion that your face is longer. The look will become lighter;

    鈥?Using a strong mascara for your eyelashes from the middle to the end of your eye, this will make it look extended towards the temples. Your look will become more sensual and more mysterious;

    鈥?Using a strong mascara for your eyelashes, from the interior corner of the eye towards the central part, will make your eyes look closer to each other, and the look will seem deeper;

    鈥?for an every day makeup, the mascara shouldn't be waterproof;

    鈥?the mascara base helps a lot to protection your eyelashes and their finish.

    When you are in a hurry, try these quick eye makeup tips.

    Wear a simple makeup, using a liquid foundation, powder, mascara and gloss. This makeup matches any age and any type of face, giving you a fresh, bright appearance.

    鈥?the eye shadow must be matte or naked.

    The matte one gives a natural aspect, and the naked one, a shiny aspect. In general, the naked eye shadow can be applied more easily 鈥?but be careful, not too change the skin too much, especially if your complexion is mature, because you risk to over highlight the wrinkled areas.

    The eye shadow will be applied over the contour and it also has the role to set it.

    鈥?in the crease of your eye lid, you will get a fine shadow of brown, having the role to get the eye bigger and lifted;

    鈥?over the contour of your eyes you can add brown or grey makeup for a natural look ;

    鈥?pink refreshes and gives the look a sweet aspect.

    Implement the eye makeup tips above, see how they work for you, and with a little eye makeup help, you'll be well on your way to creating sexy eyes which shine

    Why do I keep getting eye infections? This is the third time this year. Any tips?

    Last year I was susceptible as well. I do have grandchildren and I know they can pass on infections easily but I have not seen the younger family for over a week of recent. And of course I am always washing my hands during the course of a day.

    I have been bathing my eyes with water and salt water and have been to the chemist for Brolene. Anyone got any home remedies to help ease the discomfort?

    Thank you in advance for your contribution.Why do I keep getting eye infections? This is the third time this year. Any tips?
    Sounds like an allergy. Takes ages to find the cause if it is, a process of elimination.

    My mum has something called blepharitis, cause unknown, but it's quite common. It's an imflammation of the eyelids. You need to bathe your eyes with cooled, boiled water, and use a soothing eye gel, on a regular basis. Your doc can send you for a check up for this.

    Another suggestion if you want to try homeopathic remedies, is tabs called Euphrasia 6, by Weleda, you can buy it in health shops. It stopped my conjunctivitus quite quickly, even though I'd been given creams, gels etc by the doc and had been suffering for nearly 18 months. I went to the health shop in desperation, and I'm glad that I did.Why do I keep getting eye infections? This is the third time this year. Any tips?
    If you use make up you should throw it away after an eye infection...especially mascara, mascara should also be replaced every 4-6 months anyway.

    Home remedies...Tea bags, make a cup of tea and remove the bag before milk and sugar. Place warm tea bag on eye...i've used them for all sorts of eye problems, if nothing else it soothes. Salt water wash as you are doing is all that half the eye treatments are anyway so keep that one up.

    It might be an idea to visit Dr, to rule out infections that brolene wont clear especially as youre having them repeatedly.
    Do you wear contacts? Good cleaning of the contact is essential to prevent continued infections. Also, you should probably throw out all of your makeup. You are probably just re-infecting yourself.

    Also, I would go to the doctor and not try anything on your own. You only get one pair of eyes and I wouldn't be willing to risk home remedies on them. Get a professional opinion
    It could be an allergy to make-up or face cream etc My mum had recurrent eye infections this past year and it turned out to be an allergy to the fumes in paint! think about what you have done differently or used. Hope that helps!
    Wash your hands more often......you are probably touching your eyes an awful lot without realizing it.......I don't think you should the water and salt combo......just get artificial tears and try not to bother your eyes too much
    The most basic advise is to meticulously wash your hands. If you rub eyes at all that is one source of direct contamination.
    keep washing your hands - and don't rub your eyes with your fingers
    it might be congitvities.(i think that is how u spell it)

    i have a left tooth infection muscle spasm in the right side of face and chest pain.Numbiness in finger tips and pain in right foot shoot to right eye and constipated shortness of breath?
    Ummm. There is no one disease or illness that will cause all of these problems (at least, none I've ever heard of). You need to worry about the chest pain first. See a doctor ASAP. Chest pain is nothing to fool around with. The rest of the stuff is not life threatening and most can be treated OTC.

    An eyelash curler! Slide a pencil over the bottom lid just on the lash line and then curl your eyelashes! The look makes your eyes look more open and sultry I need some eye makeup tips?
    It depends on the shape of your eyes and their color. But in general, you can make the eyes ';pop'; as professional makeup artists say, by enlarging the area of attention around them. This means you draw attention to the by contrasting colors around the eye. Use a lighter color than your iris as a shadow. Outline the eye with a dark brown, gray or even black liner, depending on your iris color. Next to the brows, use a faint lighter color under neath the just subtly draw attention to them. Use a lash curler if your lashes are too straight, then apply mascara, making it very dark brown or black.

  • Tips for eye liner on hazel eyes?

    i want to make the green in my hazel eyes stand out-what works? different color eye liner? shadow?Tips for eye liner on hazel eyes?
    use a brown eye liner and a little bit of green (not bright) eye shadowTips for eye liner on hazel eyes?
    i would say that a light green-ish blue eye shadow and a black eyeliner would really bring out hazel eyes.
    i have hazel eyes, wat brings the green in my eyes is a dark brown eyeliner and a light brown or light green eye shadow
    purple shades bring out the green. i have hazel and it really makes them more green looking. don't go over board though . shadows browns are nice.
    I have hazel eyes and I usually use brown eyeliner and brown hues to shadow my eyes with. I have used a dark green eyeliner (on the bottom outer rim) and it helps, but I think brown or bronze looks nice blended on the bottom outer rim of your eye and up into the crease on top.
    yeah mine are a hazely-green too. i use heavy brown eyeliner on the bottom lid and then a thin line of brown eyeliner on the top. then depending on if you want them to look more green or brown, use that color eyeshadow. (but lightly, not like neon colors because that will just divert the attention to your eyelids rather than the actual EYES.) and don't forget to use mascara; it really opens your eyes up and makes them 'pop' :)
    I have hazel eyes and would use to always use brown or green until one day I ran out and used the black that I had. Ever since then I have been hooked because it contrasts the green making it stand out even more.
    I have hazel eyes, too. I like to use greens, browns, purples, and sometimes even blues, or a soft pink. Check out this link to see what colors can work for you. http://www.marykay.com/daryn_anderson/wh鈥?/a>
    A medium brown liner %26amp; shadow work best. I use CG twist-up liner in Coffeeline.
    I have hazel eyes, and I use a lot of purples - nothing stand outish or obvious, but definite purples. The color contrasts the green and really makes it pop. I've never been a huge fan of purple eyeliner (I tend to stick with my basic black), but the times that I have used it, I've really been able to see the green.
    Try Brown or Black
    I have green/hazel eyes and I use a brown eyeliner and either light pink, light brown, and purple eye shadow, or I use a light sparkle brown baby pink, and blue eye shadow! It makes green/hazel eyes POP!
    try violet if you want to make them really *pop*
    http://www.unitnet.com/cgi-local/mainmen鈥?/a>
    I have hazel eyes also. I use this one eye shadow from Loreal .. its called Bronze Star. Its a dual eyeshadow and I use the darker brown. Everytime I wear it, i get compliments on how green and pretty my eyes are. I hope this helps!
    for hazel eyes you should wear browns and pinks for your eyeshadow, brown eyeliner and brown black mascara.
    Best if you use a combination of contrasting %26amp; complementing colors (i.e. using the color wheel). For hazel eyes pinks/purples/mauves and greens should have the most dramatic effect. Use either green eyeliner with purples/pink shadows or purple eyeliner w/ green shadows - either can work - best to experiment.

    For an easy solution, try Almay's new Intense i-Color which is color coodinated by eye color. You may want to try the Green collection to bring out the green in your eyes.
    black eye liner green eye shadow.
    actually purple eyeliner helps to bring out green in an hazel eye. but dont apply it as it sounds...

    -first line ur eye with a smokey dark grey on the top outer lash line

    -next use an angle brush to smuge a purple eye shadow in along the lash line

    -really work in the lash area.

    -apply mascara and ur done!!!
    brown shadows look best with hazel eyes

    try a med brown liner

    use a color that goes with your skin tone for the base color. this evens out your eyelids in case you have splotches or what not. pick out a neutral color if its your first time wearing make-up so then its not to out there, if not go with what ever. use and angular brush and make sure it all gets rubbed in evenly. if you need to, use a small round tip brush to smudge in the colors if you happen to be using two or more colors. Hope it works =]Any good eye make tips?
    if you want to use warm colors you should use colors like peach, cooper, warm green. if you want cool colors use pink, violet, blue, or turquoise. if you want a natural color then use nude, gray or peach. And if you highlight a spot over your iris it will make your eye color brighter and more noticeable. i hope helped :]
    Less is more.
    Sometimes, after I put my eyeshadow on, I put a very tiny amount of Vaseline over it, gives it the wet shimmery look, it works great!
    Concealer under eyes to seal up dark circles.

    Tips on disguising a black eye?

    For starters I am female. I got hit in the face 2days ago and now have an unbelievably obvious black eye. Its still REALLY dark and I have to see my grandma tomorrow and go out with friends on the weekend.

    Im trying my hardest to reduce the swelling, im just having an enormously hard time covering it up.Tips on disguising a black eye?
    As far as the swelling, Soft gel ice packs, ice for 30 min straight. If it is still puffy when u go see nana, pat some preparation H on it. As far as the discoloring, you need to get some concealer. What kind you need depends on the actual color of the eye.

    Is it actually black? Or is it black and blue? If it is, skip the concealer and go for a full coverage foundation like dermablend. You can get it at high end department stores like Nordstroms or Macy's.

    If it is yellowish, try using a lilac or light purple concealer stick.

    If it is like ruddy and red, use a green concealer stick.

    Make sure to apply the make up OR concealer with a small, soft brush using a patting motion as the skin is tender because it is stretched out.

    Also, try getting one of those gel eye mask that you can put in the freezer to sleep in.

    I am a little worried if it has been two days and its still really black. If it is black closest to your nose, rather than the outside of your eye near your cheekbones, it may actually be your nose that is broken. You may want to see a DR hun.Tips on disguising a black eye?
    Anything you try will make it look worse! Plus, it will just make it hurt more - I think you should tell your grandma a big sob story and get lots of sympathy!
    clinique has a fabulous line of products. if u get their foundation that blends with ur skin tone it will work well but it will completely cover it if u also buy the concealer 2 go with it. (trust me i know first hand.) it'll be about $32 for everything 2gether
    As for the swelling, have you tried cold tea-bags? It works miracles.

    As for the colour, (I take it sunglasses are out of the question). Best is to disguise it with as many make-up as you have.
    Your only option is to black the other one and make like a Panda. Just kidding, look for cosmetic camouflage products, you might be able to get something to cover it for now. Medical cosmetics. OK?
    you won't be able to cover it up, you have to wait until the blood is reabsorbed into your system for it to go away and since you said it's black, you still have a way to go until it fades, then turns green/yellow and then disappears. just turn it into a funny story, it will be quite the conversation starter. if you're worried about grandma, tell her you're a total klutzy idiot and you fell or something. but i'm sorry, there's no way to adequately cover it.
    a restrianing order and luggage for him
    the green and yellow concealer works great. my 4yr started t-ball this summer and i caught one in the eye.I got mine from wal-mart i think it was physicians formula.
    use makeup to cover it
    i would imagine that foundation would cover it.
    as far as I know, nothing fully covers it!
    what are you crazy?! my sis got a black eye and she loved it!! so please, enjoy your black eye while you can. you don't get them so often (unless you actually provoke to get them, which is definantly, uh, wrong). but whatever you do, DON'T cover it up!!!

    *dragonashes~serpentwolf*
    you lie. i got a black eye not to long ago. i had my dog on a retractable dog leash and he ran up to my friend and she unhooked him and it flew back and the metal hook hit me in the eye. use this story and your in the clear.
    try foundation?? .... or something
    use a concealer...preferably a cream concealer. its available at any beauty store.choose a shade that is exactly matching to your skin than a shade lighter to your skin as paler shades accentuate the blemish or mark.
    wear make up or sunglasses!

    I have a prosthetic eye, does anyone have makeup tips about how to make it the least noticeable?

    Wow, tough one! I have an eye that I lost all vision in, so it deviates to the right a bit.

    1] I assume the color and everything matches well.

    2] first, shape and darken brows to frame eyes

    3] ALWAYS curl and darken lashes

    4] you can adapt the eyeliner on your prosthetic eye to make it 'line up' with seeing eye

    [ see photos on permanent makeup.com - eyeliner with 'lazy' eye ]

    5] avoid neon or garish colored shadows/liners

    6] balance your face with blush/bronzer and lip color or gloss.

    7] wear pretty earrings!

    Very, very few people notice my eye - even my kids and co-workers ask 'which eye is it again?'

    Use a primer - which makes your eyeshadow stick on a lot better and makes it come on more evenly.

    There's a lot of different looks you can use - mix and match and play with the eyeshadows. Also, there are many good make up tutorials on youtube.

    If you want eyes to look bigger, apply a little black eyeliner just below the waterline and some white eyeline on the waterline

    Hope I was helpful, have fun with your makeup!
    There's tons of good videos on YouTube featuring makeup tutorials (my favorites are Lauren Luke [ panacea81], Leesh [xsparkage] and Josh [petrilude]) with all kinds of different tips and tricks to do the things you're talking about.

    For right-now tips, applying tapered eyeliner can make your eyes appear bigger- what I mean by that is, when you apply your eyeliner, make the line gradually thicken as you reach the outer part of your lid.

    Also, using a white eyeliner on your waterline can help make your eyes appear larger and more open.

    Hope I helped!

    Her look is really natural.

    I'd try using a mineral founfation base, like Bare Escentuals, i'd say if you are her colouring you'd need fairly light.

    Next a pink blush, one i like is Bourjois Lilas D'Or, it's their most popular shade, and has a shimmer to it. Apply to the apples of your cheeks and with whats left on the brush sweep up to the temples slightly and accross the nose. Only with what's left on the brush don't apply more blush to do these areas.

    Apply a pale cream eyeshadow on the brow bone, and a nude shimmery brown like Bare Escentuals Bare Skin glimmer on to the lower lid, working your way up to the brow bone and blend well. It seems she is not wearing eyeliner on the upper lid, only a brown one on the lower going from corner to corner. Black mascara to finish. Apply in a zig-zag fashion to the lower ones, and two coats to the upper.

    The lips are nude. Just use a sheer lip colour gloss and you're done.I have green eyes and i need eye make up tips HELP?
    I HAVE GREEN EYES TOO..

    I TRIED PURPLE, OR PLUM

    DONT USE IT

    WELL IT LOOKS BAD ON ME...

    IT LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE PUNCHED ME IN THE EYES... LOL

    A COUPLE TIPS THAT WORK FOR ME:

    WHEN USING MASCARA USE IT ONLY FOR THE TOP NOT BOTTOM !!!

    ALSO USE GOLDEN EYE SHADOW...

    SHINY EYESHADOW WORKS TOO...

    GO EASY ON THE EYELINER

    SOMETIMES IT LOOKS BAD...

    USE A LIQUID LINER....

    GOOD LUCK ! =]
    Since you have green eyes, you can do a lot with them ..

    Warm colors like deep purples, plums, mauves, lilacs, golds, bronzes, deep greens, coppers, browns, medium pinks, peaches, and apricots look amazing with green eyes

    Avoid blues, silvers, whites and pastels...they'll make you look washed out..

    if you are looking for an eyeliner try browns instead, and for special occasions, golds or bronzes, black tends to be too harsh for green eyes.

    Blushes : brown, rose and peach and apricot are all good color choices

    Lip Stick / Lip Color :: try brown, rose, mauve, plum and burgundy colors for lipsticks.

    Not all of these will work with you because i don't know what shade of green your eyes are .. just work with what you have and figure out what shades and colors will look best ..

    Hope i helped :)
    Go to the Body Shop, and buy some brown eye shadow. The Body Shop beauty products are the best, because they stay on all day, don't smug, and really bring out eye colours.

    Also, use a darker brown eyeliner [again, I suggest the Body Shop]. And I'd say use waterproof black mascara.
    Hi~~

    LOL...I've tried various shades of blues %26amp; violets/purples....just isn't me. I have hazel eyes, so I've learned to stick w/the Earth colors (or ';warm'; colors....different shades of green/brown/coppery colors). Grays work okay for me too. Depending on the shade of green your eyes are, I'd suggest trying these types of colors. As far as eye liner goes, same principle applies. It seems w/my hazel eyes...if I wear something (in regards to clothes) brown, my eyes look more brown....green, my eyes look more green. As I'm sure you've figured out, there are multitudes of different mascaras....all claiming to do this or that to make your lashes look a certain way. I usually use one called Daring Curves from Avon, but I ran out %26amp; had to get some from a store. I picked one from Maybelline called Volume Express. It seems to be pretty good...doesn't clump, separates %26amp; defines my lashes. If you want your lashes to curl instead of sticking out more or less straight....an eyelash curler is a necessity. You can wear the best, most expensive mascara there is, but if you don't use the curler first they won't be as noticeable. As for mascara color, I'd go w/a brownish-black as opposed to just a straight black. Might not seem like a big difference, but you'll notice it when you put it on. This especially holds true if you're more on the fair skinned side. Hope this helps some! : %26gt; )

    If those links don't work, I have brown eyes and kind of a light tan skin tone.Can you help me with eye makeup tips?
    oh nice eyes! hmmm i think you'd look good with emerald green or a dark shimmery blue shadow ;]

    also you should use a liquid eyeliner and wing the end of your eyes to have a cat eye affect =]Can you help me with eye makeup tips?
    I wouldn't use a brown eye shadow because since your skin is a light brown color the brown looks like a darker shade of your skin making you look like you have uneven skin tone or makes you look like you are tired. If i was you i would put a little black eye liner in the corner of your eye not all the way across your lower lid cus your eyes are already enormous. Then make you eyelashes thicker so they pop. For eyeshadow maybe try golds or pinks or maybe even purple for a dramatic effect. A lot of people would die for your skin tone. Also use a little blush and lip gloss and you would be gorgeous!
    I think you should have a nice rich brown on the lid with a slightly darker shade in the crease and maybe a goldish pigment over the brow bone; something like MAC's melon pigment. Make sure to blend well. If you want to spice it up a bit you can add a little more color with the use of a liner or (if you have it) use a little mixing medium and a vibrant pigmented shadow with a liner brush.
    First off you are really pretty even without makeup! With your skintone and hair color you can actually go dark. So you could use a black eyeliner sort of heavily. I would use mascara because I think it makes everything look better. You can also experiment with color a lot! So just have fun with it! Try some purples and blues and browns!
    you're prettyy

    but um ok so put a little eye liner on the bottom lid, and for the top, take one of your hands and stretch out your eyelids (making you look asian) and take a dark eye shadow and put it along the lid...it usually looks better than covering your whole eyelid. and then take swift strokes with mascara and elongate your eyelashes, and curl them. if you need concealer for dark circles, use that first. but mostly its about simplicity so dont overdo it!
    Hmmm..

    I think light makeup would definetly work for you.

    If youre looking for a place to buy makeup, you might want to try MAC. There, they help you find what you need.

    Anyways, like I said, light eye makeup.

    You might also want to go alittle lighter on the mascara.

    Not too little but not too much.

    Good Luck!
    I would use lots of copper, brown, and gold tones. Throw in some green or violet tones if you want to spice things up. Use a soft dark brown or black liner on your top and bottom lids to make your eyes pop more. :)

    Also try looking through face charts for inspiration! I put a link to a good gallery in the source section. :)
    your eye shadow's beautiful. you should use mascara to thicken your eye lashes. maybe covergirl or revlon. and you shoud add a little more eye liner to the bottom of your eye lids because it looks a little uneven. then again, these things are only seen upclose so don't worry about it too much.
    by the way you are very pretty!

    Use a Black Mascara and Coat the upper lashes, then line the top lash line with a dark purple ( unless you enjoy another shade of purple ) then coat lower lash line with a slightly lighter purple. It really stands out!

    Then add a black wing to finish it off!

    If i were you i'd try to use

    black liquid liner and line my top lid,

    It will pop your eyes,

    which are deff. your best feature. :D
    i would use copper and violet eyeshadow with dark brown or black eyeliner and black mascara. You're very pretty!

    my favorite brands are:

    cargo

    stila

    neutrogena
    your eyes are stunning you should keep them natural, like in your pics because if people get used to seeing you with more stunninger eyes it would be hard on you trynig to keep that image, plus they look better natural :)
    really pretty. i bet if you used a lighter color like a coral or pink on your eyeshadow that would look really pretty
    with your skin type you can experiment with light colours..as your eyes are big dont use a lot of eyeshadow..purple with look very trendy n hot..n u can use a thin line of maskara..
    i think you should go with a brown eye liner and mascara and maybe a green eye shadow, it would really pop against your skin color.
    you don't need makeup. trust me, guys don't like it when girls with natural beauty use makeup.
    Green to bring out the color of your eyes!put dark green on the bottom of your top eyelid and light green on the top of your top eyelid!
    You should use light pink eye shadows and make ur eye lashes bold and long, and a clear lip gloss and no eyeliner.
    I love your eyes in the first pic!
    you are really pretty !!!

    and for eye makeup, try some pink eyeshadows and revlon mascara in black

    Smoky eyeshadow.

    Get black eyeliner then get white eyeshadow up to your eyebrows then layer half of your eye grey then just on your eyelids a little bit of black then smear together.
    well the smokey look looks amazing on everybody!

    how to:

    line the outer corners of your eyes with a black eyeliner. then take a gray shimmery powder(i like maybelline) and smudge it over it and onto your eyelid. then apply a 4-5 coats of black mascara or fake eyelashes to your top and bottom lid. then dab a white shimmery powder at the inner corners of your eyes to make them pop

    if you don't like gray your substitute the gray eyeshadow for brown and you get the same affect, it looks pretty both ways!

    if you want to add some color blend a deep blue, emerald green, or medium light shade of purple all over you lid. it will really make your eyes stand out, but make sure to keep your cheek/lip makeup at a minimum or else you will look like a prostitute.

Makeup counters are the best they can show you a lot better than web sites!
    well if u are going for that put the eye liner on top eyelid and put it on thick and if u put it on the top and botton thick ppl will be scared of u so only on the top and thick

    where a white out fit with orange shoes and orange belt no color earrings maybe diamonds or little gold ones and where the eye shadow to where you can see a glimpse oh yeah where gloss on your lips not color lipstickHow do i wear orange eye shadow? I need tips!?
    Depends on what shade it is and what shade you are. I often use a dark peach, but true orange is not for everyone.How do i wear orange eye shadow? I need tips!?
    do not wear it very dark. if it is day time wear it very light but u should wear a dress in orange and black. and if it is night u can wear it a bit dark and make it to shine.
    use as an accent only and go lightly, you dont want to look like mimi from the drew carey show
    try a light, shimmery orange. nothing too bright. you can use a darker/burnt orange in the corners %26amp; creases
    If you're going to go for orange, then go with bold strokes. A pale orange would look bad. So make it bright!
    Mmm, I didn't even know Orange exists! I didn't even find out about yellow shadow until last month, and it was Rimmel I saw!

    Orange is not something I want to wear in makeup, clothes, or anything!

    I'm glad YOU like it, however. Daring to be different about orange shadow! Good for you! ;-)
    I think that you should pick a liight orange! and just put it on your lower part before yoou the crease in you eye!

    Tips on ways to apply eye makeup?

    need some tips on how to apply my eye makeup... i have blue eyes with fair skin. i wear eyeshadow liner on bottom and top lid i just need some new tips please helpTips on ways to apply eye makeup?
    ';To brighten up dull blue eyes or emphasize piercing shades of blue, opt for taupe, lavender, camel, lilac and other shades of browns and purples to make your eyes appear bluer than they really are.';

I use a bit of blusher for the cheek bones and I use a great facial mositurizer along w/ a great facial cream.

    try big fatty mascara from urban decay its amazing and it makes your eyelashes look really long. then try a light eyeshadow since you have fair skin
    i think its really pretty when people put shimmer eyeshadow in the corner of your eyes closest to your nose and maskara always looks really pretty and catches peoples eye :]

    鈥?the message you want to transmit by your makeup;

    鈥?your age and the condition of your complexion;

    鈥?the shape of your face;

    鈥?the coloring of your skin;

    鈥?the color and the style of your hair;

    鈥?your personality;

    鈥?your clothes;

    鈥?your accessories;

    鈥?the purpose of your make up (day time makeup, evening makeup, special makeup, for different occasions etc).

    Here are some practical eye makeup tips, with which you will never fail:

    鈥?the eye liner which is generally appreciated is grey or brown;

    鈥?in order to give the illusion that your eye is big, underline it with an interrupted line, as close as you can off the base of your eyelashes, which you then blot gently. The line will be applied both on the upper and on the lower eye lid. You can also get the illusion of a bigger eye, if you apply white liner on the mucous membrane, kohl sau kajal;

    鈥?in order to give the illusion that the eye is small, color its lower mucous membrane, without underlining the lower lashes;

    鈥?in the case of exophthalmic eye, the contour on the upper lid has to be stronger and wider;

    鈥?if in the outer corner the eye is a little more lowered than the interior one, then bold the contour of the upper lid on the last third;

    鈥?the mascara accentuates your look and it can be used successfully, even for the simplest makeup. When you go to the gym, it is adequate just to use a uniform layer on your eyelashes and best if you can use a waterproof mascara;

    鈥?using a strong mascara for your eyelashes towards the middle of your eye and curved vertically, highlight the roundness of your eye and give the illusion that your face is longer. The look will become lighter;

    鈥?Using a strong mascara for your eyelashes from the middle to the end of your eye, this will make it look extended towards the temples. Your look will become more sensual and more mysterious;

    鈥?Using a strong mascara for your eyelashes, from the interior corner of the eye towards the central part, will make your eyes look closer to each other, and the look will seem deeper;

    鈥?for an every day makeup, the mascara shouldn't be waterproof;

    鈥?in the crease of your eye lid, you will get a fine shadow of brown, having the role to get the eye bigger and lifted;

    鈥?over the contour of your eyes you can add brown or grey makeup for a natural look ;

    鈥?pink refreshes and gives the look a sweet aspect.

    Implement the eye makeup tips above, see how they work for you, and with a little eye makeup help, you'll be well on your way to creating sexy eyes which shine

  • Why do I keep getting eye infections?

Use a lash curler if your lashes are too straight, then apply mascara, making it very dark brown or black.
    concealer. white or silver eyeshadow around the corners of your eyes and a geyish color on your lid.

    Tips for eye liner on hazel eyes?

    i want to make the green in my hazel eyes stand out-what works? different color eye liner? shadow?Tips for eye liner on hazel eyes?
    use a brown eye liner and a little bit of green (not bright) eye shadowTips for eye liner on hazel eyes?
    i would say that a light green-ish blue eye shadow and a black eyeliner would really bring out hazel eyes.
    i have hazel eyes, wat brings the green in my eyes is a dark brown eyeliner and a light brown or light green eye shadow
    purple shades bring out the green. i have hazel and it really makes them more green looking. don't go over board though . shadows browns are nice.

    Any good eye make tips?

    Anyone?Any good eye make tips?
    use a color that goes with your skin tone for the base color. this evens out your eyelids in case you have splotches or what not. pick out a neutral color if its your first time wearing make-up so then its not to out there, if not go with what ever. use and angular brush and make sure it all gets rubbed in evenly. if you need to, use a small round tip brush to smudge in the colors if you happen to be using two or more colors.

    Use colors that make your eyes Pop.

    Use white eyeliner on bottom eyelids to lighten up.

  • Tips on disguising a black eye?

    Also, use a darker brown eyeliner [again, I suggest the Body Shop]. And I'd say use waterproof black mascara.I have green eyes and i need eye make up tips HELP?

Just use a sheer lip colour gloss and you're done.

: %26gt; )

    If i were you i'd try to use

    black liquid liner and line my top lid,

    then put a little wing on the very end of it.
