take it to the VET BUT NNNNNOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!!!My hamsters left eye is pasted shut how anybody know any tips to help unpaste it?
my hamster once had this eye shut thing l broug it to the vet but its hopless but if u bring it to the vet as soon u found out abount it
Pasted shut with what? Glue? Try some warm water on a wash cloth first, hold it to the eye for about 30 secs. if that doesn't work try some peanut butter, it might work without hurting it.
This was told to me by the vet nurse but it was for a kitten but it could still be helpful to you. Dissolve salt in warm water and clean out the eye three times a day with it. I used clean cotton wool each time and i never dipped the used cotton wool back into the clean container so I could use it again later. Make new solution each time. This has helped two kittens and two cats. Hope this helps your hamster!
maybe he has a fly in his eye and wants to suffocate it.
Try a little warm water compresses and you can add a little Epsom salts as well. Even sea salt is good.My grand sons hamster had a closed eye for about two weeks. We did the warm compress routine just with the warm water and after a couple of times it loosened the **** up and opened the eye with no problems. Just a little piece of dust can trigger off more tearing and often leaves a film which starts to seal shut if not loosened. So from an old Grandma this is my suggestions for now
you should take it to the vet
Take it to a vet, genius. Be a responsible owner and caregiver.
take a face cloth and wet it with warm water and wipe it till it opens up. Go to the drug store and get an over the counter anti biotic eye drops and use those till it clears up. Should work with out a trip to the vet.
uh try taking it to a veterinarian...
