use a color that goes with your skin tone for the base color. this evens out your eyelids in case you have splotches or what not. pick out a neutral color if its your first time wearing make-up so then its not to out there, if not go with what ever. use and angular brush and make sure it all gets rubbed in evenly. if you need to, use a small round tip brush to smudge in the colors if you happen to be using two or more colors. if you want to use warm colors you should use colors like peach, cooper, warm green. if you want cool colors use pink, violet, blue, or turquoise. if you want a natural color then use nude, gray or peach. And if you highlight a spot over your iris it will make your eye color brighter and more noticeable. i hope helped :]

Sometimes, after I put my eyeshadow on, I put a very tiny amount of Vaseline over it, gives it the wet shimmery look, it works great!
Concealer under eyes to seal up dark circles.
Use colors that make your eyes Pop.
Use white eyeliner on bottom eyelids to lighten up.
