You will get used to seeing your eyes small. It doesnt hurt at all. And u cant even feel them. They give you like this solution that you can only use when youre not gonna wear them until 6 hrs after. And you should get soft contact lenses. If you think you will forget to clean your contact lenses you should get the disposable kind (everyday), if not you should get like the 2 weeks or the month one. Soft lenses don't itch. Hard lenses do. Make sure you get soft lenses.
I got some and my eyes burn like Hell, but it was the cleaning solution that I was allergic to, so bare this in mind.
Your eyes will look exactly the same unless you are going for coloured or patterned lenses.
If you are getting the ones which need cleaning every day and you start wearing a new pair every month, you can tell they are getting past their best when they feel gritty on the eyes.
The optician will tell you to pinch them out with your thumb and index finge, but it's easier to flick them out with your finger nail.
No they don't hurt unless they are dirty or ripped, they don't irritate your eyes, I put mine in at 6 am and take them out at about 11pm, and my eyes feel fine all day.
You might get them the same day, it depends on where you're getting them from and if they have your prescription in stock. Your eyes won't look weird at all.
My tips would be to wash your hands well before putting your contacts in, and don't dry them because you'll get towel lint on your fingers, which can hurt. I also look up when putting mine in, I find it easier that way. Don't buy cheap solution, it can irritate your eyes. And check to make sure that you're not putting them in inside out
they do NOT hurt
you just have to take care of them properly
you will get a trial pair the day of to see how you are with them
you will go back in a few weeks for a follow up
your eyes will NOT look weird
they might be red from you trying to get them in
other tipss:::
1) the contact should be in the middle on the endn of your pointer finger, make sure all sides are up
2) make sure you grab all your top lashes with your left hand, and grab all lower lashes with your right hand
3) look past the contact at your eye in the mirror
4) keeping looking past to guide your finger straight on
5) once you are close enough, pop it straight on your eye
6) look up and down to centre it and blink
the most important thing is to not let go of your eyelashes too soon
after you try putting them in a few times, and get frustrated, put them back in the solution and start over
it takes some people an extremely long time
dont worry you will get the hang of it
and by a few months it will take you five seconds
Contacts have improved so much since I first started wearing them...they should not hurt or irritate your eyes, but they will take some getting use to. I have never gotten mine on the same day as i have a very difficult prescription and they have to be ordered. Your eyes should look normal unless you order the lenses in a weird color...The hardest thing for me was learning how to get the contacts in my eyes!
They don't hurt at all and they only will irritate your eyes if you break they rules. You're going to get a test pair (which is just like a regular pair of contacts ) on the same day.
And your eyes won't look wierd at all! No one will even notice.
Tips would be to take them out every night...if you're going to nap in them that's alright just use rewetting drops after you wake up. Also, when putting them in it's very important to look at the lense before inserting them. Make sure there's no lint, hair, anything.
The first time they are uncomfortable, but nothing bad. I have never had problems with irritation. I used drops for about the first 6 months then I was fine. You usually will get a trial pair to use for a week or two and then they will order them for you. My eyes never looked weird or got red.
